Scan not reading? Print coming out the wrong size? Trouble with points or a subscription? The questions below are grouped by printing, scanning, family and subscription. If none of them match, just write to us.

Three freshly printed A4 weekly sheets spread across a sunlit desk, next to an iPhone showing the app home screen, a pen and a cup of matcha.

When you write, tell us this

Your iOS version, app version and device, plus what you did, what you expected and what actually happened. For scanning problems a photo of the sheet speeds things up a lot — but please keep children’s faces out of it, and there’s no need to send real names.

What print settings should I use?

A4, portrait, scale 100%. Do turn off “fit to page” or “shrink to fit” — any rescaling moves the corner markers and the scan will misread. Double-sided printing is fine; just photograph the side with the grid.

What if I don’t have a printer?

Choose Save to PDF in the print sheet and send it to a copy shop or an office printer — or print several weeks at once and keep them in a drawer. Nothing in the sheet expires apart from the printed dates.

What kind of pen works best?

Use a dark ballpoint, gel pen, marker or coloured pencil. Make a clear tick or fill the box; faint marks may not be recognized.

The scan isn’t reading well.

Lay the sheet flat, keep the light even, get all four corners in frame and step back a little. The usual culprits are a creased sheet, the phone’s own shadow falling across it, or a scaled printout. There is a review screen afterwards — if a box was read wrong, just fix it there.

Where do I enable the camera?

System Settings → find this app → Camera. Without camera access there is no way to photograph a sheet. The same screen manages photo-library writing (used when saving a share QR code) and Calendar (used by Pro scan reminders).

How many times can I scan the same sheet?

As often as you like. From the second pass on, the app compares day by day with the previous reading, counts only the newly filled boxes and marks the older record as superseded, so nothing is credited twice. Scanning on Wednesday to check progress and again on Sunday to close the week is a common rhythm.

Do the photos get uploaded anywhere?

No. Recognition happens on the phone and needs no connection at all. Photos are never written to the system photo library and never take part in iCloud sync. One is kept inside the app’s own folder on this device only when it stays attached to a scan record, and deleting the record deletes it too.

Can several family members use it?

Yes. The free plan manages one member at a time; Pro has no limit. Every member has their own tasks, points and sheets, and the default AGou and ATu profiles can be renamed to the real names at home.

Can I correct the points?

Yes. The simplest route is to scan the sheet again — the difference is reconciled automatically. You can also add or subtract by hand in the ledger, or void a particular scan record. The ledger keeps the trail of every entry.

New phone — how do I restore my subscription?

Sign the device in with the Apple Account you bought with, open the plans screen and tap Restore Purchases. With Family Sharing turned on, the household can share the same subscription. The subscription itself is managed in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.

iCloud sync isn’t moving.

Check three things: the subscription is active, iCloud sync is switched on in the app’s settings, and both devices use the same Apple Account with iCloud allowed for this app in system Settings. If all three hold, the first pass can take a few minutes — keep the app in the foreground and online.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?

Deleting the app removes every local record on that device: sheets, points, member profiles, scan photos. If iCloud sync was ever on, that copy lives in your own iCloud and can be removed from the system’s iCloud storage settings. We hold no copy, so we can neither delete nor recover anything for you — keep a PDF of sheets that matter.
